Deepkika Padukone and Bollywood ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali have worked on blockbuster films from Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela to Pdamaavat. The two share a great bond and have always been vocal about it. Now all of a sudden a report has emerged that there is a fall out between Deepika and Bhansali and are not on good terms.
As per the viral report, Deepika is upset with Bhansali for not giving her the lead in Gangubai Kathiawadi which went to Alia Bhatt. The ‘Black’ filmmaker offered Deepika a dance number to compensate but was turned down by the actress.
The unsaid tension has now put Bhansali in a fix over the making of Baiju Bawra which he wanted to helm with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Deepika. With them not in talking terms, the film now may be in limbo, says a source.
Truth Behind The Fall Out
While speculations are rife over Bhansali and Deepika’s fall out, how true is it? A source close to Bhansali has informed that all this is mere rumror and there is no cold war between them as being written. The source goes on to add that both Ranveer and Deepika kept in touch with Bhansali when he was affected with Covid.
Gangubai Kathiawadi was never offered to Deepika and the fake reports being written about them will not create a dent in their relation, adds the source. The duo will certainly collaborate as both Deepika and Ranveer are dear to Bhansali.
