Virata Parvam Teaser: Love Stuck In Warzone

Virata Parvam Teaser Review

Venu Udugula in his second directorial Virata Parvam directs two very talented actors Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi and the film is not just about the naxal movement that took place in 1990s in Telangana region. The film also tells a beautiful love story, going by the teaser released by megastar Chiranjeevi.

Virata Parvam teaser begins with Rana’s rebellious thoughts through his poetry. “How long to erase the marks of hegemony..? How long to uproot the barriers of discrimination? Knocking the bottom out of farmers… Landlords prospered,” writes Comrade Ravanna aka Aranya.

Sai Pallavi is introduced as a village belle who is an ardent fan of Aranya’s poetry. She even leaves her house and family to him and enters forest. She is prepared to die for him, but the journey is not as easy as she expected. Police torture her as to catch Ravanna and his batch.

More than the war, the love story in the teaser is epic. The wait of Vennela for her love is legendary. It’s a love story stuck in warzone and Venu Udugula makes strong impression with his dialogues and direction.

Rana Daggubati looks apt in the role of Comrade Ravanna, wherein we don’t imagine any actor other than Sai Pallavi in the role of Vennela. Cinematography is first class while Suresh Bobbili’s background score is admirable.

The joint production venture of Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri is scheduled for release on 30th of April.
