Ever since the lockdown was lifted, at least 2 to 3 films are releasing every week. With good number of the films that were released in last couple of months turned out to be hits, filmmakers are curious to release their films in the summer. This Friday, we will have three noted films releasing and they are Vishnu Manchu’s Mosagallu, Kartikeya’s Chaavu Kaburu Challaga and Aadi’s Sashi.
The result of these three films is very crucial for the respective heroes as it’s been long since they tasted a hit. Denikaina Ready released in 2012 was the biggest hit for Vishnu Manchu and his film Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam was an average grosser.
In last few years, Vishnu did numerous films and none of them impressed Telugu audience. So, he is coming up with a Pan India film Mosagallu which is also made a crossover film in English. Due to pending works, only Indian versions will be releasing on 19th of this month. Despite Vishnu promoting the film aggressively, Mosagallu is unable to bring buzz. Moreover, the film was made on a huge budget and only Bahubali kind of talk can save it.
Kartikeya’s Chaavu Kaburu Challaga is gearing up for release on March 19th. Except for his first film RX 100, all the film sof Kartikeya ended up as flops to disasters. So, he pins all hopes on CKC. Although there were not many expectations on the film, Allu Arjun’s encouraging words at pre-release function and vigorous promotions by the team are helping the film generating some buzz.
However, Chaavu Kaburu Challaga needs to get positive talk after the release in order to survive at the box office. Lavanya Tripathi played the leading lady opposite Kartikeya in the film.
Last but not least, Aadi’s Sashi is also gracing theatres on 19th of this month. Aadi didn’t have a commercial hit in his long career. He is failing to pick right subject which is the reason why he is unable to score hit. Nonetheless, he has high hopes on Sashi and Oke Oka Lokam song became one of the biggest hit songs in recent times, which is an encouraging sing.
To conclude with, three flop stars are fighting at box office for a break this week. Let’s see how many of these will put an end to flop streak!
