Handsome hunk Rana Daggubati has played the most challenging role in his upcoming Pan India project Aranya for which he lost 30 kgs to play the role of a jungle man Bandev. He had to undergo extensive physical training to get the lean look for this character as a 50 years old man. Aranya trailer is unleashed today, marking world wildlife day.
Aranya trailer discloses the plot of the film. Politicians and corporate system try to occupy the forest inhabited by elephants over decades and how Rana with the help of Vishnu Vishal fights for the elephants forms the crux of the story.
Prabhu Solomon picked another thought-provoking subject and the trailer looks promising with gripping visuals and complementing background score. The director’s previous film Gajaraju also dealt with the bond between an elephant and the main lead.
Produced by Eros International, Aranya also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain in important roles. The trilingual film will have a simultaneous release on March 26 in theatres.
