The gigantic success of Baahubali gave massive stardom across the country to rebel star Prabhas who later tasted a bitter result with Saaho. His next film Radhe Shyam is also carrying low buzz due to genre of the film. Prabhas is now said to be under immense pressure, as he made few poor choices after Baahubali.
Though Prabhas did romantic and soft entertainers before Baahubali, people want to see him in mass and action-packed roles now. Radhe Shyam is not the kind of film one would expect from Baahubali. Even fans are not happy with the title and promotional content.
Prabhas’s ongoing film Salaar with Prashnath Neel is remake of the director’s first film Ugramm. Though he made many changes to the script, many opine the outdated story may not captivate Telugu audience. There were huge expectations on the film, until it was revealed that it’s a remake of Ugramm. But, fans of Prabhas were surprised to know that the film titled Salaar is remake of 7 years old film.
Prabhas’s Adipurush with Om Raut is based on Ramayan and the actor will be seen as Lord Rama. The film’s shoot is currently underway. Many films came on Ramayan and only engaging narration with intriguing elements can save Adipurush. Like in Mahabharat, Ramayan doesn’t have potentiality to include commercial ingredients. Moreover, Rama is very soft in nature.
Apart from these, Prabhas will be doing a sci-fi entertainer under the direction of Nag Ashwin. The film will feature two Bollywood stars- Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. But, it will take nearly two years for the team to complete all the works and release it.
Above all, Prabhas who wants to wrap up all these films at brisk pace is working simultaneously for three projects. His film with Nag Ashwin will also begin soon. He is working restlessly, without taking many breaks.
Let’s hope Prabhas’s hard work will be paid off and all his upcoming films will become huge blockbusters at box office!
