Varalaxmi Sarathkumar although a popular face in Kollywood, she was familiar to Telugu audience with her dubbed Tamil films back here. But now with the resonating success of Krack and Naandhi, Varalaxmi name is selling like hot cakes in Telugu tinsel town. Apparently, filmmakers are keen to cast her and some of them are reportedly designing characters just to have her in their films.
Her first Telugu film was Sundeep Kishan’s Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL where was seen as lawyer. But the film didn’t help her to take notice of her. But thanks to Gopichand Malineni’s Krack as Jayamma and Vijay Kanakamedala’s Naandhi.
Both the films helped Varalaxmi sarathkumar to take notice of her not just critics but audience alike. Her performance in Naandhi as lawyer Aadhya appears strong and carries equal weightage to Alalri Naresh.
Overwhelmed by the audience response, she had thanked stating, “So much love for #Aadhya #Naandhi I'm overwhelmed..I have no words to express my gratitude.. thankkkk u soooo much.. #hyderabadcalling see u all soon..!!!” (sic)
Now with back-to-back hits Varalaxmi’s demand is on the rise and selling like hot cakes.
