Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja who has been reeling under flops broke the jinx with Krack’s success. The film not only gave a sigh of relief to Mass Maharaja but also accentuated the confidence levels of Ramesh Varma, Khiladi director.
Apparently, Khiladi makers gave Rs 13 crore paycheque to Ravi Teja and they have spent a whopping Rs 45 crore on the making of Khiladi. The makers were anxious about the recovery and how would they promote the film with the hero reeling under flops.
But Krack came as breather. It not only emerged blockbuster but gave super confidence to Khiladi team. It is learnt that post the success of Krack, the budget of Khiladi extended further. For the unversed Ramesh Varma worked with Ravi Teja before for Veera. The film however tanked at the box-office.
On the contaray Harish Shankar who also collaborated with Ravi Teja twice, First film Shock was dud, but he gave a blocbksuet hit with Mirapakaya. So now the onus lies on Ramesh Varma to retain the faith given by Ravi Teja. Will he be able to give Mass Maraha a success? Let us wait and see.
