Ace producer Boney Kapoor and Rajamouli’s tussle over the date clash of their respective films Maidaan and RRR is all over social media. The common factor in both the films is Ajay Devgn.
In Boney Kapoor’s Maidaan Ajay Devgn plays the football legend Syed Abdul Rahim, while in RRR his role is kept under wraps but carries a lot of weigtage to the movie. With Ajay being the common factor, it is learnt that the actor is trying to be the peacemaker between Boney and Rajamouli.
Apparently, Ajay is trying to arrange a meeting for Boney and Rajamouli to sought out their differences and come to a conclusion amicably. However, it is learnt that Boney Kapoor is in no mood to budge and wants to retain his ground as he feels that he had announced his film date six months back.
On the other side, Rajamouli feels that since Maidaan and his film RRR are completely have different plot and are unique the clash won’t have any adverse effect. Both of them sticking to their own grounds has left Ajay in a fix as to who would blink first.
Rajamouli Is Unethical
Visibly upset Boney Kapoor had earlier called the move of Rajamouli unethical. He had said, “This is most unethical. I announced my release date for Maidaan six months ago. At a time when we should all be coming together to save the movie industry, he (Rajamouli) has gone and done this”.
