Not only Akkineni fans but also movie lovers cannot forget Akkineni's generational multi starrer Manam directed by Vikram Kumar. The film which happened to be ANR's last featured Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil and Samantha much to the delight of all. From then on, all family heroes in Tollywood dreamed of a film like Manam for their family.
Vikram Kumar for long has been dreaming of a sequel for Manam. Inside talk is he held discussions with King Nagarjuna recently. Vikram Kumar came with many different genre films but his favourite movie turns out to be Manam as it made him closer to Akkineni family. Though his next Hello with Akhil didn't live up to the expectations, Akkineni family didn't sideline him.
He is now doing Thank You with Naga Chaitanya. Sources reveal that Manam sequel main line is ready and Vikram Kumar gave clarity on few episodes to Nagarjuna. The duo is planning to ready the entire story with a senior writer after the completion of Thank You.
Sources say Manam sequel will have two new heroes. They are Sumanth and Sushanth who were not seen in the original. Vikram Kumar readied story to make Amala, Sumanth and Sushanth as part of the sequel which may go to sets next year.
