Senior actor Kamal Haasan underwent successful surgery today, January 19. The actor injured his leg during the shoot of Sabash Naidu. Although adviced surgery long back, Kamal took his time to recover and finally got it done today.
Kamal’s daughters Shruti and Akshara have issued a statement informing his fans and well-wishers about the completion of surgery successfully. Their statement reads, ''We would like to begin by thanking you for you overwhelming support, prayers and genuine concern regarding our father recent medical procedure. We are happy to inform all of you that the surgery was a success! The surgery was performed on his leg this morning at Sri Ramachandra Hospital performed by orthopedic suregon Dr. Mohan Kumar along with Dr. J.S.N Murthy. The doctors, attendees and the hospital management are taking wonderful care of our father and he is doing well, is in good spirits and working towards a speedy recovery." The post was captioned as, ''On behalf of @ikamalhaasan , here’s an update !! Thankyou for all the ❤️🙏🏼''
As per the statement Kamal Haasan is currently in hospital and would come back home in four to five days after recuperating.
