Sankranthi festival gives Josh to movie lovers, especially Tollywood. That's the reason why every year 3-4 films release during Sankranthi season. Many times, it has been proven that with little strong content, the makers will make huge profits.
Many expected Sankranthi to be special as four films released this year as there has been a huge gap in releases due to coronavirus. But this opinion is proven wrong. Vijay's Master, Ram's Red, Bellamkonda Srinivas' Alludu Adhurs and Ravi Teja's Krack released during this Sankranthi. Expectations were high that US collections will be decent.
But much to the shock of all, none of the films got good US collections. There is no variation between premiere show and normal show collections. Till last year, even medium range films used to get million dollars in just three days but now it seems one lakh dollars is a great achievement. Krack didn't yet cross one lakh dollars mark and same is the case with Master and Red. Alludu Adhurs is not getting even minimum collections.
