In what could be said a significant development is that the AP high court suspended the AP state's panchayat election schedule released by the AP State Election Commission, headed by Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, last week.
Ever since the APSEC released the election schedule, there has been a huge uproar from the government and the AP employees against the schedule. Since the union government planned for covid control vaccination across India from 16th of this month, AP NGOs and teachers made it clear that they could not discharge their election duties in the wake of vaccination schedule released by the union government.
In the meanwhile, the ruling YCP approached the high court seeking the deferment of the election schedule. Hearing the appeals made by the AP government and the arguments raised by SEC's advocate, the court has suspended the schedule released by the SEC.
It's learnt that Nimmagadda decided to challenge the judgment in the high court's division bench.
Meanwhile, YCP leaders who became skeptical that Chandrababu Naidu was behind Nimmagadda's acts, have started trolling Nimmagadda.

"అయ్యా, నిమ్మగడ్డ గారూ... హైకోర్టు తీర్పుపై సుప్రీంకోర్టుకు వెళతారా లేక చంద్రబాబు ఇంటికి వెళతారా..? చెప్పండి ప్లీజ్..!," Vijayasai Reddy tweeted.
