Acharya Set Creates Record!

Whopping Rs 20 Cr Spent On Set

Koratala Siva’s Acharya Starring Chiranjeevi, Kajal Aggarwal is one the most awaited films of Tollywood.  The film has now created a record. The temple town set erected at Kokapet on the outskirts of Hyderabad is sprawled over 20 acres. As per reports, an astronomical amount of Rs 20 crores has been spent.  Coming back to the record, the temple town set is said to be the largenst set in India. Yes you have read it right.

The set is erected by noted art director Suresh Selvarajan who has shown his craft for films like Krish 3, Agneepath, Petta, Yaan, Bharat Ane Nenu. The film  is set against the backdrop of temples and endowment department.

Koratala is shooting Acharya shoot at a brisk pace. He has planned to wrap up Chiranjeevi's solo scenes by January 10th. Later, in the month of February, he will shift to Ram Charan's scenes for whihc 30-days has been alotted. During this time, Charan and Chiranjeevi scenes will be canned together.
