Fighter has been a dream project not just for filmmaker Puri Jagannath but also Vijay Deverakonda. Considering the scale of the project, huge expectations are pinned high on the film. With Karan Johar coming on board and Ananya Panday as the female lead, Fighter has been making news ever since its announcement.
Certain sequences need to be canned at a foreign locale. The team had planned to shoot at US, however the pandemic played spoilsport. The team then switched the destination to Europe to wrap up the foreign schedule. But looks like there is no respite for Puri in the offing. For the last few days, European nations have been on high alert and have announced lockdown yet again after new strain of Coronavirus.
Back home, even Maharashtra government has also issued guidelines and restrictions in view of the second wave. In view of the aforementioned things, Fighter may not get completed in the stipulated time.
