Much has been spoken and written about Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor's debut in Tollywood. Many Tollywood filmmakers tried to launch her in a grand manner opposite top and young Tollywood stars but her mother Sridevi preferred to launch her in Bollywood. Finally, Janhvi made her debut with Dhadak and went on to star in webseries Ghost Series. She starred in The Kargil Girl, a biopic on IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena.
In between many rumours spread about her Tollywood entry and that she isn't interested in it. It was left to her dad Boney Kapoor to rubbish all the rumours. Tollywood makers planned to rope her in and the reports have it that they consulted Janhvi for Vijay Decarakonda's Figher but it later went to Ananya Pandey. Janhvi's name was considered for Akhil-Surender Reddy's project but finally the role went to Rashmika Mandanna.
Reports have it that Janhvi Kapoor finally makes her T-Town entry romancing Ram Charan in his upcoming project. Aswini Dutt is planning to cast Janhvi in the remake of ever green classic Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari. Janhvi's close aides say her Tollywood debut is string delayed as she is not getting interesting roles.
