Reportedly, the BJP high command has become furious over AP BJP's president Somu Veerraju's childish act. The other day, addressing Tulluru landlords, Somu proclaimed that the BJP had confined itself to a single capital Amaravati stand instead of supporting three capitals. Furthermore, Somu dared to tell a lie that PM Narendra Modi too sticks to Amaravati stand.
Ever since Somu made false claims on Amaravati, the PM Modi, top leaders Amit Shah and JP Nadda have become serious on Somu.
In the wake of Somu's controversial statement on AP's capital issue, the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to complain against Somu to PM Modi and Amit Shah. A severe action will be taken on Somu by the BJP's high command. Naturally, rumours have been rife in Delhi BJP's circles that Somu would be ousted from his position soon.
In the meanwhile, Somu attempted a damage control exercise. When TV 9's journo quizzed him if Modi really had taken Amaravati stand, Somu made it clear that it was the stand taken by AP BJP only.
