Tirupati Lok Sabha by-polls will possibly be held in the month of February, 2021. While YSRCP fielded Dr Gurumurthy as the MP candidate, TDP roped in Panabaka Lakshmi. However, neither Janaseana nor BJP announced their contestant for the elections. In the wake of the suspense prevailed over the JSP or BJP's contestant, some fake and genuine analyses are doing rounds on net. Checkout the following.
FAKE ANALYSIS: Previously, a BJP candidate won the elections from Tirupati MP constituency. The party has a decent cadre from the root level. On the other hand, BJP's Hindutva ideology would turn an instrumental factor for the BJP's victory in the elections. Above all, BJP is riding high on the victories in Dubbak and GHMC polls. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan, himself, got defeated in 2019's general elections. He can't make his party's contestant win the poll battle. Moreover, Janasena has no organizational bodies at the ground level. All in all, it would be apt if a BJP candidate is fielded in the elections instead of a JSP candidate.
GENUINE ANALYSIS: Janasena's strength increased by leaps and bounds compared with the party's strength in 2019. The party, alone, has a potential to carry more than 25% votes at the moment. BJP, on the other hand, got confined to 1% vote share in AP's general polls, 2019. However, Janasena's support gave the party an additional strength such that the JSP and the BJP duo can pull off a minimum of 40% votes subject to the case if a JSP contestant is fielded in the by-polls. The BJP might have turned the most sought after political party in Telangana state. But then, it must be understood that the Telangana BJP is filled with a big number of senior charismatic leaders like Kshan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, Lakshman and a few others. AP BJP's leaders are not that charismatic leaders as TS BJP leaders.
BOTTOM-LINE: All in all, a Janasena candidate, who is supported by the Janasena and the BJP, may clinch a sensational victory from the YSRCP and the TDP in Tirupati MP by-elections.
