Anil Ravipudi's directorial F2: Fun And Frustration starring Venkatesh Daggubati, Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada released last Sankranthi was a smashing hit. Post the massive success, the director has announced its sequel F3. Recently, the team announced that the same star cast will continue in F3 too. However, for the past few days, there was a buzz that tension has mounted after Varun Tej quoted huge remuneration.
Reportedly, Varun Tej has asked for a whopping Rs 13 crores as his fee. This irked Dil Raju. Usually Dil Raju is a shrewd producer who usually cuts the budget. However, considering the importance of the project, Dil raju agreed to pay Rs 8 crores to Varun Tej and also gave an ultimatum. Appanelty, Dil Raju said that if he is unhappy he could back out from the project. However, things have been sorted out and all is well in the unit. F3 will go on floors in the first half of 2021.
