Did you know? AP's yesteryears leading political party TDP contested in the GHMC elections and got just a total of 55000 votes. Predicting something similar fate as the TDP had, AP's ruling political party YSRCP skipped the elections.
On the other side, Power Star Pawan, who initially decided to get Janasena contested in the poll battle, withdrew his decision at the eleventh hour as the BJP's top leaders visited his office and pleaded him not to contest the elections to make sure the split of votes would not happen between the JSP and the BJP. Finally, Pawan Kalyan's support factor worked a big time and the BJP won 49 divisions which is a phenomenal feat.
Here the million dollar question is why are GHMC voters hating the YCP and the TDP and why they are liking the Janasena. Checkout the following analysis.
REASONS FOR HATRED ON TDP: GHMC voters primarily remember the TDP as a caste based political party. Also, they are of the opinion that the party's head Chandrababu Naidu manages the systems like media, dark dress verdict group at Amaravati and some more important systems. Besides, they are also aware of the publicity mania of the TDP. All these factors and misgovernance of CBN in AP state in his previous tenure made GHMC voters develop hatred on the TDP.
REASONS FOR HATRED ON YSRCP: In fact, GHMC voters have not that much hatred for the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. But the problem is that YS Jagan is not a well known politician in Telangana. As such, people here in Telangana take YS Jagan very light. Moreover, the feedback received by the GHMC voters on YCP's governance is not that encouraging. In short, most of the voters believe that YCP is all free scheme party.
REASONS FOR FONDNESS ON JANASENA: Naturally, being the number one hero of the current generation, Pawan Kalyan has a tremendous fan following in Telangana state. Despite being faced a humiliating defeat in general elections, 2019, the way Pawan Kalyan bounced back with his aggressive approach in taking Janasena to next level is impressing the GHMC voters to the core. As a result, they developed fondness on Janasena.
