The BJP high command at the centre has reportedly been serious on Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan's pro Amaravati stand. It is a known news that Pawan Kalyan has interacted with Amaravati agitators for the past two days.
It was alleged by YSRCP sources that Pawan Kalyan started playing an active role in support of Amaravati landlords and casteists who mostly belong to the TDP.
A couple of months ago, YSRCP resolved to establish three capitals in Vizag, Kurnool and Amaravati instead of single capital Amaravati. Now that BJP's high command prefers decentralized development, the BJP's top brass were convinced with AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's decision.
Since AP state's BJP is filled with a couple of TDP's leaders, some of them supported Amaravati. But then, BJP high command has a clarity on the shifting of capital in AP and is indirectly encouraging the three capitals move of the YSRCP.
In the meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan understood the fact that the BJP high command at the centre is not in a position to support his pro Amaravati stand as the BJP top leadership suspects whether the Janasena chief had been supporting TDP on Amaravati issue.
Pawan Kalyan released a press note that the BJP leadership had extended its support to capital Amaravati. "In reality, Janasena sources are spreading fake news. BJP's top leadership won't support Amaravati," an analyst said.
