If latest reports are anything to go by, Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s much awaited flick Vakeel Saab directed by Venu Sriram is out of sankranthi race and the film will grace the theaters in summer. The announcement regarding the same is expected next month, depending upon work schedules. Vakeel Saab postponement indirectly gives big relief to young heroes who planned to release their films for the festival.
Apparently, makers of Vakeel Saab doubt whether the theatres in Telugu states will be fully operational with 100 per cent seat capacity from January in 2021, as vaccine may not come by the time. Releasing a film of its scale with 50% occupancy is certainly a suicidal decision. Thus, producers Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor are mulling over postponing the film to summer.
This has turned blessing in disguise for films aimed for Sankranthi release. Nithiin’s Rang De, Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor, Ravi Teja’s Krack, Bellamkonda Srinivas’s Alludu Adhurs are the films announced to hit the screens for the festival.
Apparently, after ages, Sankranthi is not going to witness any big release. Already, Yash and Prashanth Neel’s KGF 2 is also pushed from sankranthi.
