Star actress Rakul Preet Singh has come a long way since her modeling days. Having made her debut at the age of 18 in a Kannada film, Gilli, she has now recalled the time when she faced the camera for the first time. The Current Theega actress was pursuing her degree in Delhi when she got a movie offer. Being a studious student, she directly flew down to the film's set without rehearsals.
Rakul added that her first day shoot went like a pro as her shot was okayed in the first take itself. In fact, she left the GIlli crew impressed as she mouthed the Kannada dialogues impeccably.

Post her debut film, Rakul was on a roll in South with numerous opportunities from Tollywood and Kollywood. In fact, she also attained the status of star actress down South. However she added that she had to miss many Bollywood projects owing to her commitment in South.
