The Rajya Sabha member Santosh Kumar launched the Green India Challenge, an initiative to plant saplings to make India green. On Wednesday, ace director SS Rajamouli and his entire team of RRR took up the challenge as nominated by Mega Power Star Ram Charan. The director then nominated Ram Gopal Varma, VV Vinayak and Puri Jagannadh.
“My team and I took up the #GreenIndiaChallenge as nominated by @alwaysramcharan ... I would like @rgvzoomin , Vinayak garu, @purijagan to take this forward...” tweeted Rajamouli who posted a video of he along with his team planting saplings.
RGV reacted quickly and responded in his style. He says he won’t be taking up the challenge. “Sir @ssrajamouli I am neither into green nor into challenges and I hate touching mud ..The plants deserve a much better person and not a selfish B like me ..Wish u and ur plants all the best ,” wrote RGV.
VV Vinayak had taken up Green India Challenge long ago and he is expected to plant saplings another time. Puri Jagannadh too is likely to accept the challenge.
Shooting for RRR is currently in progress with night shoots in Hyderabad to film some fight scenes.
