Is BJP resorting to a big blunder by supporting Republic TV's editor Arnab Goswami and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut? According to political analysts, BJP's support to both of them would do enough damage to the party at the national level.
As we all know, Arnab has kept on maligning Bollywood's celebs raising nepotism and drugs racket issues. Had Arnab been honest in his discussion programmes, he could have been supported by the viewers. Sadly, he intentionally slang mud on top celebs which made him an antagonist among media journos.
On the other hand, Kangana has a single point agenda with her. "The more you slam top celebs, the more fame you would acquire," is the policy adopted by Kangana. Her argument has no logic and no justification. She is badly supported by Arnab telecasting several hour-long discussion programmers with her.
Having arrested Arnab, Maharashtra government and the police turned out to be the heroes of the state. BJP needs to desert backing Arnab and Kangana, at least now.
