"TDP's chief Chandrababu Naidu is known for stooping to any extent to make systems managed in the AP state. It was CBN who made the media lose ethics and values in the state. It was CBN who resorted to manage a dark dress group at Amaravati," alleges a detractors of CBN.
"And now, CBN is managing the election commission in the state. Nimmagadda is allegedly showing an extreme bias on the TDP and is moving as per CBN's directions," added the aforementioned detractor of CBN.
Previously, Nimmagadda let local body polls be deferred as per TDP's direction. And now, he wants to conduct the elections at the earliest as per the advice of the TDP's head.
However, Nimmagadda gets a rude shock from AP NGOs this time. AP NGOs leaders made it clear that they wouldn't take part in the local body polls owing to the outspread of coronavirus has made thousands of employees fall ill. Further, they warned Nimmagadda that they would approach courts if Nimmagadda would move ahead with the conduct of elections.
Unless there is any support from the employees, the electioneering in AP wouldn't be possible. As such, the local body polls are likely to be postponed against the wish of Nimmagadda.
