Tamil star hero Vijay attended legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam's funeral which took place at his farmhouse in Chennai. SPB’s final rites were performed by his family members at his farmhouse in Tamaraipakkam, in the outskirts of Chennai. Vijay who’s an ardent fan of SP Balasubrahmanyam paid his last respects by attending the funeral.
Vijay also expressed condolences to SP Balasubrahmanyam's son SP Charan. Pictures of him at SPB's funeral are going viral on the internet. It is worth mentioning that Vijay shared screen space with SPB in a Tamil film, titled Priyamanavale. Last night, Tamil Nadu government announced that he will be laid to rest at his farmhouse in Chennai with full state honours.
SP Balasubrahmanyam's body was brought from the MGM Healthcare hospital to his house at Kamdhar Nagar in Nungambakkam. Several celebrities and fans paid their last respects to the legendary singer at his Chennai house. Later, his mortal remains were brought to his farm house.
