Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has accepted Green India Challenge and planted three saplings at the backyard of her residence in Mumbai. She accepted the challenge from young rebel star Prabhas with whom she starred in Saaho that marked her Tollywood debut.
The Green India Challenge was launched by Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar and aims to improve the green cover and has several politicians, celebrities and others joining the challenge and planting saplings.
Prabhas had taken up the Green India Challenge and planted saplings in his backyard at his home three months ago. J Santosh Kumar also took part in the event then. Prabhas then challenged Ram Charan, Rana Daggubati and Shraddha Kapoor to do the same.
