Director Prashanth Neel who became popular with his last film KGF is presently directing the film’s second part which is gearing up for Sankranthi release. There was lots of discussion about Prashanth’s new film and finally young rebel star Prabhas comes on board for the project. But, Prabhas needed to agree for a condition of the director.
Prashanth Neel prepared a mass and commercial subject which he wanted to start immediately after wrapping up KGF 2. He initially approached young tiger NTR who liked the story but said he can’t take up another project before completing RRR and his film with Trivikram Srinivas.
Prashanth then approached superstar Mahesh Babu. But, Mahesh Babu who too showed interest to work with the director asked him to wait some time until he wraps up his latest flick Sarkaru Vaari Paata with Parasuram.
Finally, the director narrated the same story to Prabhas who too initially said he had lots of prior commitments and he can’t immediately do the film. But, Prashanth Neel was particular about starting the project early in 2021. Prabhas who didn’t want to miss the opportunity has said yes to the director.
2021 is going to be a hectic year for Prabhas who will be working simultaneously for Nag Ashwin’s futuristic sci-fi, Om Raut’s mythological entertainer Adipurush and Prashanth Neel’s film.
Currently, Prabhas is working for Radhe Shyam which is in last leg of shooting.
