This is the most crucial development in Andhra Pradesh which happened today. The AP governor Biswabhusan Harichandan has cleared the three capitals and CRDA bills today.
The governor okayed 3 capitals bill that ensures Vizag an executive capital, Amaravati a legislature capital and Kurnool a judicial capital.
Initially, the bill was passed in the AP assembly in the month of January and was sent to the council. But then, in spite of clearing the bill, the chairman passed it to the select committee.
Once again, the AP assembly passed the bill in the month of June. But then, the council didn't clear it. Eventually, the government sent both 3 capitals bill and CRDA bill to the governor. As the governor cleared both the bills, it's inevitable three capitals are established in the state in lieu of the single capital.
