When he was asked recently in a live interaction with fans on social media platform whether he will again team up with director Puri Jagannadh, superstar Mahesh Babu said yes. “Absolutely I would! @purijagannadh is one of my favourie directors… I’m still waiting for him to come and narrate to me,” affirmed Mahesh Babu.
Puri and Mahesh Babu duo had previously delivered an industry hit Pokiri and an above average grosser Businessman. The director planned to make Jana Gana Mana with Mahesh Babu and even narrated the story to the actor. But, for some reasons, he didn’t show much interest. Perhaps, half-baked script is the major reason. Now, it seems, Puri impressed Mahesh Babu with full and fresh narration.
Although Puri announced to be making Jana Gana Mana soon, he didn’t divulge name of the hero. However, he is keen to do the project with Mahesh Babu. If things go well, the film to be made as Pan India entertainer will go on floors sometime next year.
While Puri is directing Vijay Deverakonda in a sports drama entertainer, Mahesh Babu will next be joining hands with Parasuram for Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Though Mahesh Babu committed to do a film for SS Rajamouli, it may not happen in 2021, given his RRR is yet to be completed and the director hasn’t yet locked script for Mahesh Babu.
So, Mahesh Babu is listening to various scripts in the meantime. Jana Gana Mana is expected to be Mahesh Babu’s foray into Bollywood!
