Mass Raja Ravi Teja is currently romancing Shruti Haasan in Krack under the direction of Gopichand Malineni. He is pinning all his hopes on this film as he has been reeling under the string of flops for many years. Expectations are decent on the film as Gopichand Malineni earlier presented him with hits like Don Seenu and Balupu.
The makers recently came up with posters that Krack is based on the real-life incidents in Andhra Pradesh. Gopichand Malineni rubbished all the rumors that the film is a remake of Tamil hit Sethupati. But Krack teaser showed few scenes similar to Tamil film Sethupati.
Sethupati was already remade in Telugu as Jaidev. But no one knew when the film released. Jaidev makers murdered the classic film. However Gopichand according to sources drew inspiration from Sethupati and changed the content with his style of treatment.
But suspense is on whether Krack is a remake or not. Some feel just like Harish Shankar did to Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh which is a remake of Salman Khan's blockbuster Dabang, Gopichand is doing the same with Krack, a remake of Sethupati but he hates to call it a remake. The question is will Krack be Ravi Teja's Gabbar Singh?
