Tollywood stars feature in Good Samaritan roles in their films on screen. They are always seen fighting for the poor, taking on the powerful baddies, politicians, police forces and resolving all the problems.
Watching their power packed performances on screen, fans expect them to be like that in real life too. But it seems there are no real life heroes among Tollywood stars. True that they donated generously for the CM funds and PM funds and even raised a few funds to help those affected in the film industry.
However, none of them bothered or cared for the plight of the migrant workers or the poor who are left high and dry. In Bollywood many like Amitabh Bachchan and others arranged for their food and shelter. Sonu Sood whom many Tollywood stars thrashed him black and blue on silver screen, showed his kind heart.
Ever since the lockdown due to coronavirus, he has been working overtime arranging food and shelter for the migrants and the affected lot. To the top of it, he also arranged buses, airplanes for their transportation. His effective planning and coordination put even the state governments and the authorities concerned to shame.
This is unlike many Tollywood stars who spent the lockdown, spending time with their family members, cooking or cleaning utensils, workouts and sporting their six packs.
