The Karnataka government on Wednesday announced to stop online live classes for students from LKG till class 5. The state Education Minister S Suresh Kumar further informed that for classes 6 to10, a committee has been formed to submit recommendations on pros and cons of online education and a report of which will be submitted within 10 days. He also said that strict action will be taken if schools collect more fees in the name of online education.
Director Krish who will next be directing Power Star Pawan Kalyan in tentatively titled film Viroopaksha has welcomed the idea and he wondered whether it will be a national policy. “Brilliant news.. will it be a #NationalPolicy soon? Was Very concerned, few days ago, when I heard a 2nd standard kid has to go through a series of online classes, that too for an exuberant fees..”, he tweeted.
“You come and teach now... atleast online classes engages them for a few hours!,” is how Manchu Lakshmi responded.
It is understandable that Manchu family owns several educational institutes which indeed is their main income source. They have been backing up the idea of online classes ever since lockdown was enforced.
Giving his opinion, Krish stated, “I'm against making it mandatory... and parents can always choose according to their convenience..”
“Nobody is forcing the kid to take online classes.. this is the only choice.. take it or leave it.. the schools are struggling to figure this new way too.. breaks my heart to see apple in front of her iPad for so long!” stated Lakshmi.
However, many netizens supported Krish in this regard sharing their own bad experiences.
