Any business will depend on rotation. If rotation is continious without any break, people will come forward and invest any amount of money. Film industry is no different but for the last three months, it is facing a serious situation.
All the shootings came to a standstill and theatres got shutdown. Film releases have been postponed and there is no solution in sight. Almost all producers in Tollywood have theatres on lease and for them, the returns are important for rotation of money.
With all top banners locking three to four big-budget films, all of them are facing problems. Geetha Arts lined up four projects and all are under production. Dil Raju is also facing similar problems. Most of the investment is locked under production. Suresh Productions is planning a pan India film. Asian Pictures have few films on sets.
So the top banners are facing problems to get new investments. Sources say they somehow are planning to complete the current projects and their plans of other upcoming projects may be shelved for sometime.
