The two Telugu states have given permission for the film shootings. Reports are coming that shootings will resume from June. Few producers are making preparations to start shooting their films. Though there is no clarity on the reopening of theatres, inside information is in two months' time, they will also be opened.
Already many films are waiting for release. The makers are waiting eagerly when the theatres will open. However there is a problem now. Inside talk is though theatres are opened, producers are not keen to release their films first.
Under these circumstances, speculation is on as to who will bite the bullet when theatres reopen. No producer is keen to take the risk and make his or her film the first one after theatres open. They are planning to play the safe game to see what will be the first film's reponse from movie lovers in the theatres, whether people show interest, the collections etc.
This is the situation of medium and big budget films. Small filmmakers are planning to release their films in theatres and if not on OTT.
