Here is a sigh of relief to AP Government employees. The CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took a much needed and awaited decision to give the employees full salaries without any corona special deductions. With the outbreak of the pandemic, nationwide lockdown was imposed in India two months ago.
Straightway, Telangana CM KCR took the crucial decision to cut half of the salaries to the employed. The deduction was 90% to IAS and IPS officials. Although, YS Jagan decided not to cut the salaries to the employees initially, he had to get his decision changed imposing the salary cuts like Telangana government.
Both AP and Telangana employees got their pay cuts in two successive months of March and April that led to their financial status turned quite miserable. Finally, the AP CM has turned generous towards the employees and has decided to give full salaries for the month of May payable to June. Moreover, the CM assured the employees the deducted salaries of two months would also be paid shortly.
And now, Telangana CM KCR is also hoped to pay full salaries to the employees.
