When EVV Satyanarayana Planned To Commit Suicide

EVV Satyanarayana happened to be the most successful director in Tollywood. He gave many super hits in the 80s and 90s. He gave tough competition to K Raghavendra Rao with commercial hits directing more than 70 films.

However, there was a time when EVV Satyanarayana planned to end his life committing suicide. While returning to his native place from Hyderabad in a train, he planned to jump into river Godavari. He got ready and was about to jump but at the last minute, he changed his decision remembering his two sons Aryan Rajesh and Allari Naresh.

He planned to end his life due to flop result of his debut film Chevilo Puvvu. The film starring Rajendra Prasad flopped at the box office and he found future bleak with no offers. He went into depression and planned to end his life. However, he changed his life and decided to even turn co-director.

However, Ramanaidu who recognized EVV's talent offered him another chance. Thus he came with Prema Khaidi which turned out to be a super hit. Allari Naresh shared these startling revelations interacting with the scribes.
