India's film and TV industry will take long time to recover financially from the coronavirus pandemic, which is threatening every single project, putting at risk thousands of jobs. Daily wage workers and technicians working for films and TV programs are going through tough times.
In the crisis time, Star MAA, one of the leading players in TV industry, came forward to assist TV technicians. They have contributed a sum of Rs 55 lakhs. Over 500 TV technicians associated with TV industry such as production staff, assistants to artists, art assistants, freelancers, and others will be benefited with this. Rs 10,000 will be distributed to each.
It will be great if other channels too will follow the same and donate to help technicians working in TV industry.
