The dictionary definition of the word 'Pandemic' is 'the disease prevalent over a whole country or world.' Since novel coronavirus spread among all countries, the 'World Health Organization (WHO)' declared the disease a pandemic.
It is a common practice pandemic diseases take the lives of lakhs of people. The world witnessed many pandemics such as Spanish Flu, Leprosy, Measles, Malaria, Typhoid, Swine Flu, AIDS and many others.
Despite India encountered many pandemics, never ever lockdown was imposed by the previous governments. But then, Modi's government resorted useless 'lockdown' over a long time.
Having observed the immense crisis being faced by migrants and daily wagers, people with kindheart claim 'Lockdown in India is the real pandemic but not coronavirus.'
They added, "As pandemics do, lockdown has taken the lives of thousands and affected the lives of crores of people either directly or indirectly. This is a man-made pandemic. The culprits, whoever, will surely pay for their blunder."
