The spreading of coronavirus pandemic in India is set to bring out many changes in the education system. More particularly, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) is framing guidelines in such a way a drastic transformation would be practised in the next academic session. Following are some of the guidelines to be framed by HRD.
* New seating matrix and staggered classrooms are likely to be proposed. As such, there maybe shift system of classes for students. (Morning and Afternoon shifts)
* Morning school assemblies and games & sport activities maybe suspended.
* Dos and don'ts in washrooms and cafeteria.
* Regular disinfection of entire school building.
* Masks will be made imminent and their colours should match with uniforms.
* Visitors entry maybe restricted.
* For residential schools, strict measures will be imposed for social distancing.
* Rules will be revised for maintaining of library hours as well.
* UGC proposed reopening of colleges and universities for old students from August 1. The reopening dates of schools are yet to be announced.
