Having faced the ire of stranded migrant workers and the students, the union government, led by BJP, has finally issued a circular to solve their issues.
It's a known fact that lakhs of migrant workers at their work places were stranded with the sudden imposition of lockdown. Without foreseeing the problems to arise, the union government carelessly imposed lockdown which created a huge turmoil.
With no public transport available, thousands of migrant workers walked to thousands of miles to reach their hometowns. Pathetically, a few fatalities were recorded due to excessive walk with starvation.
On the other hand, many students of Kota of Rajasthan and from other campuses across India were stranded in respective campuses where no facilities of proper accommodation and food were available.
The union government's circular allowed them moving to their homes. Teams of nodal officers would safeguard the workers reaching to their hometowns through road transport.
