Prince Mahesh Babu's fans are in heavens with the outbreak of Mahesh and Rajamouli's project. They are getting pan Indian dreams at the moment. But then, the million dollars question is that whether Mahesh Babu alone can pull off pan Indian task? Here is an analysis.
Rajamouli's Baahubali series films had pan Indian release and conquered the Bollywood box office. Apart from hero, antagonist of the film, Rana was also given prime importance with his role in the film. Moreover, Rana was a known face to Bollywood audience before. As expected, Rana received rousing response in Hindi belt which made him doing another pan Indian film 'Hathi Mere Sathi'.
Right now, Rajamouli is carving RRR as India's biggest multi-starrer. Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger NTR are playing lead roles. Ram Charan is a known face to Bollywood's audience with his direct Hindi film Zanjeer and a couple of super successful Hindi dubbed films on Youtube.
In addition to heroic elevations, Baahubali is filled with full of jaw dropping elements with extraordinary visuals which turned instrumental factors for the success of Baahubali. RRR is also going to be a visual extravaganza.
Coming to Mahesh and Rajamouli's project, Mahesh Babu is going to be the solo hero of the film. Further, he is not known to Bollywood audience before. As the film is expected to be hitting screens in 2024, Mahesh will be at the age of 49 then. Of course, age is not a factor to get audience enthralled. But then, Mahesh Babu should prove, himself, extremely energetic to fit the bill. Considering all these factors, it could be a Herculean task for Mahesh Babu to pull off at pan India as a solo hero. To ensure all the setbacks are overcome and to make sure it would be a larger than life film, Rajamouli should wave his magic wand again.
