Due to coronavirus outbreak, many films which were aimed for summer release got postponed unknown dates. Now, makers of most of these films are planning to release them in June and July. Dil Raju is also mulling to release his latest production V starring Natural Star Nani and Sudheer Babu in June.
Interim, Dil Raju got massive offer from Anazom Prime Video for direct OTT release. They are said to have offered a whopping Rs 35 crores for digital rights. Although Dil Raju was somehow convinced, Nani was against the idea. So, Dil Raju had no option other than rejecting the fancy offer. Amazon came up with juicy offers for other films as well including Raj Tarun's Orey Bujjiga, Pradeep's 30 Rojullo Preminchatam Ela. Nonetheless, producers of these films also didn't show any interest.
In the corona crisis, OTT business is one of the rarest booming businesses.
V co-starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Nithya Menon is directed by Indraganti Mohana Krishna. Billed to be a crime thriller, Nani will be seen in a role with negative shades in the film.
