Young Tiger NTR at the start of his career created a sensation with his high voltage mass action entertainer Aadi. The film broke many records getting screened for 100 days in over 100 centers.
Now the interesting secret is coming out as to how Aadi happened. Director VV Vinayak is said to have irritated NTR a lot to narrate a story to him. Vinayak who during that time worked under senior directors like Sagar penned many stories and narrated them to various producers and stars.
However, nothing worked out and during that time he got in touch with NTR who was on a high with Student No 1. Producer Nallamalapu Srinivas introduced Vinayak as an assistant director to NTR. Vinayak during that time told NTR that he had a story suited for him and waited for long to get time from NTR.
NTR ignored him as many directors pestered NTR saying they will pen stories for him. However, with Vinayak irritating him a lot, frustrated NTR asked him to come and narrate the story. He, however, told him not to narrate the entire story but only the introduction scene.
NTR loved the introduction scene and from then got bowled by the script. With NTR giving the green signal, Vinayak readied the script in one week and turned director with this film. The film gave instant stardom to NTR and Vinayak.
