Power Star Pawan Kalyan led Janasena political party exhibited disastrous performance in general elections, 2019. Pawan Kalyan, himself, lost both Gajuwaka and Bheemavaram in them he contested as an MLA. To sum up, Janasena won just one MLA seat in the election battle.
Meanwhile, the nomination process of AP's civic polls has completed heretofore the polls were deferred by the election commissioner. Leaving a shocker to ruling YSRCP and opposition TDP, Janasena won four MPTCs unanimously.
In what could be said an ecstatic moment for Janasena activists is that Janasena's lone MLA, Rapaka, who shamelessly has been working in favour of YSRCP, has received a huge jolt from Janasena local leadership in Razole. A woman contestant, who was roped in Janasena's behalf against the will of Rapaka, won unanimously as an MPTC.
Bhulakshmi from Jonnalagadda of Guntur district, Venkata Narasimharao from Vedangi of West Godavari district and Vijaya Nirmala from Kadiyapu Lanka of East Godavari won the MPTCs unanimously.
Perhaps, this victory of Janasena could be an indication the history to be scripted by the party in the future.
