Megastar Chiranjeevi as a responsible celebrity is the first to announce to call off shoot of his ongoing film Acharya for couple of weeks, when Telangana Govt announced to shut down various sectors including schools and cinema halls as a precautionary measure against the possible spread of coronavirus.
This indeed is turning out to be blessing in disguise for Chiranjeevi and his team Acharya. The recent developments actually irked Chiru who thought of releasing the film for Dussehra. Mahesh Babu who was approached to play the guest role walked out of the film allegedly because of remuneration issues.
Actress Trisha Krishnan also gave hand in the last minute when she was supposed to join the shoot in the new schedule citing creative differences with makers. In the meantime, got advised to postpone shootings of films.
Now, Chiru gets enough time to sort out all the issues. He is considering few names for the lead actress. One who provides good number of call sheets and can be okay with the remuneration will be finalized.
On the other hand, Chiru is said to be making efforts to convince director SS Rajamouli to give his son Ram Charan the permission to shoot for Acharya in schedule gap of RRR.
If Rajamouli gives his nod, then Charan will start shooting for Acharya in next schedule or else they will wait till he wraps up his work for RRR.
