Shalini Pandey made grand debut romancing Vijay Deverakonda in Arjun Reddy. Though she did not have that glamor, she cast a magic spell on movie lovers with her performance in the role of Preethi. She surprised all by dubbing in Telugu for her role. Being a stage actress helped her in coming with exceptional performance. Though Shalini played an important role in the success of Arjun Reddy, compared to Vijay Deverakonda and Sandeep Reddy, she got limited recognition.
She went on to star in couple of films in Telugu and Tamil but they did not do well at the box office. In the midst of all this, Shalini Pandey says her dream came true. She got a golden offer in Bollywood. The actress got the lead role in Bollywood film Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
Shalini said this film fulfilled her desire to star in a Bollywood film. She says she is very excited about her role in the film and says she is finally getting recognition for all her hard work she did till now. The question is can she create a sensation in Bollywood just like she did in Tollywood.
