Be it films, actors or actresses, more than the number of people recognize, more fame and name they get. Compared to regional industries, Bollywood offers nationwide recognition apart from a hefty paycheck.
That is the reason why even south actors are now showing interest in expanding their horizons. Anyone who flies to Bollywood will hate to return back to the regional industry.
There are many beauties who after gaining recognition in Tollywood flew to Bollywood and never looked back. Only after they stopped getting offers in B-Town they once again send signals down south. However, of late, hot beauties are following a business model, making a splash across the industries.
Many actresses are starring in both regional and national films. Kiara Advani who shot to fame romancing Mahesh Babu in Bharat Ane Nenu starred in Vinaya Vidheya Rama opposite Ram Charan before making her presence felt in Bollywood. She is, however, showing interest in starring in Tollywood. Kiara seems to have given green signal to Mahesh again and she says “I am bowled by Telugu people's love and affection. The moment they see me, they call me by the character in the film. So I have decided to do at least one film in Telugu every year."
Taapsee who is busy with powerful performance-oriented films in Bollywood sometime back entertained with Game Over in Tollywood. She says “Tollywood taught me the nuances of acting. I shifted my base to Mumbai only to be present locally there and not to quit Telugu films. That is the reason why I did Anando Brahma and Game Over. Even if I star or not, I listen to South films stories".
Pooja Hegde and Rakul Preet Singh are mastering this balancing act. They are giving a green signal to four films simultaneously and balancing the shoots effortlessly. Rakul is currently busy with two Bollywood films and is starring in Nithin's Check.
Pooja Hegde got the golden opportunity to romance Salman Khan in his next. She is also romancing Prabhas in Oh Dear and Akhil in Most Eligible Bachelor.
Rakul says, “I got recognition as an actress with Telugu films. The people already accepted me as their own. So my first priority is for Telugu.”
Pooja Hegde says, “Of late Telugu stories are riveting. I do not find any reason to say No to them. What more an actress want".
Pan India films are inspiring actresses and actors to star in any language as strong content will endear themselves to people across the country. Tamannaah says “Each industry comes up with different genre films. So why should we refuse them. I got the roles in Hindi which I couldn't do in Telugu and we are not quitting other languages if we star in particular language films".
Bollywood beauties Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are doing south films only due to the increase in Pan India films.
