Nikesha Patel had a dream debut romancing Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Puli. However, despite her hot looks, she failed to take off to the next level of stardom. Nikesha went on to feature in few films before disappearing from the industry.
Nikesha who lived in Chennai relocated to London and started pursuing her career in the British film and television industry. Nikesha then came up with a shocker saying she lost interest in doing south films.
She affirmed that she is hurt that her films are criticized despite hard work for her role. Nikesha who was last seen in Araku Road Lo said she wanted to romance a top Bollywood star. “Though Bollywood loves south, they do not value it and treats south actors as newcomers.”
Nikesha revealed that she did not attain stardom as she decided to work only with top stars and felt that she cannot be branded as Pawan Kalyan's heroine just because she made her debut romancing Power Star. She added that UK and LA agencies rejected her as they felt that her performances down south were very loud and should have been more natural and expressive.
