TDP faced a humiliating defeat in general elections, 2019 owing to its illimitable corruption during its regime. TDP is alleged to have made some pro TDP media's heads benefitted to the fullest.
Former chief secretary of AP, Ajay Kallam, himself, divulged a shocking fact that a pro TDP casteist media CBN Chandrajyothi's head was benefitted Rs.700 crore by the TDP then. Besides, he would get innumerable TDP ads. He would charge Rs.1 crore for a full page TDP's ad.
Meanwhile, the YSRCP government constituted Special Investigation Team (SIT) to dig out the irregularities in Amaravati and other means of corruption done during TDP's rule. It's heard that CBN Chandrajyothi's head will be grilled by SIT members on the former's corruption. The details of Rs.700 crores corruption may also be disclosed by then.
